Overview
The position of Sales Director is a senior salesperson and will drive new business relationships through sales quota achievement and market share growth within the assigned territory. The individual will be driven and measured by sales bookings, sales achievements and management of all prospective customers needs to maximize company revenue opportunities and brand awareness. The role is tasked with cultivating new prospective customers and business relationships in pursuit of the sales objectives. This position integrates all aspects of the sales process from prospecting and pre‑qualifying potential clients to calculating cost estimates, preparing and delivering presentations, creating proposals and ultimately sales signings. We are looking for a true senior sales expert who is a team player.
Leadership, relationship, and consensus building skills, and a proven ability to think strategically in a rapidly evolving environment are required. The executive must be an individual who is a driven self‑starter obsessed with growth, knowledge and problem solving, and thrives in a fast paced, fast thinking, rapid execution environment. He / she must excel in the delivery of service and quality excellence. Furthermore, the individual must be able to interface at all levels of business, understand business objectives, and drive results with little or no instruction or supervision.
Role And Responsibilities
- Achieving sales quota plan in the assigned territory through the execution of your sales plan that meets or exceeds plan.
- Identify and execute regional marketing activities to enhance regional presence and sales growth, including but not limited to cold calls, leverage social media and utilize email campaigns.
- Conduct sales meetings, presentations and the generation of prospect proposals and collateral.
- Drive domain expertise with your prospects and our customers through understanding their evolving product, service and training needs.
- Meet with industry lead sources regularly to create warm lead generation.
- Be the leader of your territory at tradeshows and industry events.
- Educate and demonstrate to prospective customers our company’s product suite – leveraging our market differentiation.
- Be the champion of our company’s value proposition and brand in market.
- Visit our customers and prospects in the market to generate leads and illustrate goodwill.
- Effectively track and manage all client / prospect data within our corporate CRM system.
- Produce accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
- Generate product performance reports, sample invoices and corporate ROI models for prospects and customers.
- Be an excellent oral and written communicator with strong consultative selling techniques.

Be the customer’s trusted advisor.Research, gather, manage, and direct ongoing business development related strategies and solutions to achieve corporate and client goals.Strong sales techniques throughout the sales funnel cycle, as well as excellent closing and negotiating skills.Internally and externally articulate decisions, and deliverables in terms of the ROI.Utilize team members including post‑sale delivery professionals, pre‑sale technical professionals, and management to achieve business objectives.Qualifications and Education Requirements
BS or BA degree in a business‑related field (Marketing, Sales, Management, Communications) and / or 10+ years within an industry related position.Formal sales and business development training including consultative / solution based selling techniques (e.g., Miller‑Heiman, SPIN Selling, TAS Group, etc.).Sales background and experience in Debit and Credit Processing, Core Processing, FinTech or Financial Services.Professional references will be a requirement.Proven record of sales accomplishments.Valid U.S. Issued Driver’s License.Experience using standard Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office 365, etc.).The Pay Range For This Role Is
115,000 – 135,000 USD per year (Remote, United States)
