- Independently manage a portfolio of accounts on a monthly basis to minimize delinquency rates and meet target results set by management
- Contact customers via phone and e‑mail regarding open invoices and billing disputes
- Identify issues causing payment delays
- Maintain proper notes in Oracle for all calls and collections efforts
- Maintain working partnerships with District, Area, Division, and Corporate teams
- Escalate collection issues to Supervisor or Director when necessary
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of various collections systems
- Adhere to Iron Mountain policy and procedures – department and company standards
- Perform collections department projects as directed by management
- Challenge yourself to raise the bar for excellence in customer service and collections
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage a portfolio of accounts on a month‑over‑month basis to minimize the overall delinquency rate and achieve target results set by ManagementContact customers, via phone and e‑mail, regarding their open invoices and billing disputesIdentify issues causing delay in paymentEnsure proper notes are documented in Oracle pertaining to the calls and efforts made to collect and resolve the issueMaintain working partnership with District, Area, Division and Corporate teamsEscalate collection issues to Supervisor or Director when necessaryGain a comprehensive understanding of various Collections systemsPerform Collections Department projects as directed by managementChallenge yourself to raise the bar for excellence in customer service and collectionsRequirements
