Regional Director of IT - Iberia

Overview

Domes Resorts is a leading luxury hospitality group based in Greece with a strong and expanding presence across Europe and strong partnerships with the international brands of Marriott International and Hilton Worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional IT Director - Iberia to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operation and support of all IT functions across the hotel / resort, including business and office systems, computer networks, IT security infrastructure, and telephony. At the core of this position is the comprehensive management of all Information Technology matters at the property. You will provide user training and technical support, implement network and system enhancements, and ensure the smooth operation of hardware and software systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventories of all IT equipment and software licenses, as well as reviewing and managing maintenance agreements. Scope of the Role : A hybrid role that may include regular travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the deployment, maintenance, monitoring, upgrading and support of all IT systems (servers, PCs, OS, printers, software, IPTV, Wi-Fi, telephony and peripherals).
• Provide expert support and advice for system upgrades, installations, migrations and file maintenance.
• Oversee the improvement of existing systems and the integration of new solutions.
• Stay current with new technologies and recommend solutions that meet business needs.
• Define and monitor IT security to minimise downtime and prevent data loss.
• Ensure all systems and users comply with GDPR and maintain logs of relevant data access.
• Negotiate with hardware / software vendors and manage contracts with external providers and consultants.
• Create and manage project budgets and oversee the IT department's overall spending and purchasing.
