DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all aspects of the lighting department in a 24 / 7 live studio environment, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with production goals.
• Create and implement departmental policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance performance and maintain high standards.
• Work closely with studio directors, producers, and technical teams to align lighting strategies with production objectives.
• Supervise and support senior lighting technicians and staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage lighting stock, ensuring timely production while collaborating with other departments for innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards; maintain equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and operational reports.
• Troubleshoot lighting and equipment issues, report to the director, and stay informed on industry trends for continuous improvement.
