Base pay range

$72,000.00 / yr - $86,000.00 / yr

Backed by $25M in Series A funding, the company is scaling quickly and seeks a Customer Success Manager (CSM) for SMB accounts to join its Customer Success team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving customer adoption, retention, and expansion while serving as a trusted advisor to distributors across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of SMB accounts, building strong relationships and understanding each customer’s goals.
  • Develop and execute success plans with clear objectives, milestones, and success metrics aligned with customer outcomes.
  • Proactively engage with accounts to drive adoption, usage, and ROI, offering best practices and workflow optimization strategies.
  • Monitor account health, identify risks, and act to prevent churn while maximizing retention.
  • Forecast renewals and provide management with accurate ARR visibility.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and strategic check-ins with customers to identify upsell and expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—sales, product, and support—to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Act as a Voice of the Customer (VOC) advocate, providing product feedback to influence the roadmap.
  • Present account updates and insights to customer and internal leadership.
  • Travel occasionally for conferences and on-site customer meetings.
  • Requirements

  • Experience : 2+ years in Customer Success with SMB accounts, ideally in SaaS, construction, distribution, or technology sectors.
  • Book of Business Management : Proven ability to manage a portfolio of SMB customers across multiple locations.
  • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with construction or wholesale distribution is a strong plus.
  • Relationship Builder : Skilled at engaging key decision-makers and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Customer-Centric : Demonstrated ability to help customers achieve outcomes and expand their usage.
  • Technical Aptitude : Comfortable learning and leveraging SaaS applications quickly.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication, including C-suite-level discussions.
  • Organizational Skills : Able to balance multiple priorities and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Remote Work Readiness : Previous remote work experience preferred.
