Our client, an international fintech company providing a scope of financial services-private consumer loans. The company is combining a knowledge and expertise of IT and the financial sector to launch its own innovative products in Chile.
Currently, we are looking for a candidate to fit the role of Country Manager to launch, build, and grow fintech business operations in Chile.
Main Functions of Country Manager :
- Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve company goals in the local market.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion, keeping abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
- Oversee and manage daily operations, including business development, representation, management, and coordination of relationships with third parties.
- Provide input for developing local credit risk strategies.
- Implement processes to improve operational effectiveness and streamline workflows.
- Budgeting (implementation and control).
- Prepare annual, semi-annual, and sub-reports in relation to the company, as may be required by laws or rules, and submission of these documents to the group and relevant authorities.
- Ensure the compliance of the company and all these activities with all legal and regulatory acts applicable to private limited companies engaging in credit loan activities in Chile.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team that will ensure the achievement of the main business goals.
- Provide supervision, management, inspiration, and engagement of employees.
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies in order to achieve financial goals.
- Initiate and implement innovations to improve overall performance.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or other related field.At least 1 year of practical experience in a management position held within a credit or another financial institution.At least 2 years of practical experience in the field of lending.Deep understanding of the field of financial services, including emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing market conditions.Experience in navigating and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.Strong leadership and people management skills.Ability to make strategic decisions and drive changes rather than adapt.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and clients.Excellent verbal and written English language skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
