Criminal Defense Paralegal

RecLatam is looking for a part-time (20 hours per week) Criminal Defense Paralegal for a U.S.-based law firm. This is a remote position with a flexible schedule and the possibility of growing into a full-time role in the future.

Responsibilities :

Support attorneys in criminal defense cases in South Florida .

Prepare, draft, and file legal documents and pleadings.

Manage case files and communicate with clients and court personnel.

Coordinate and schedule depositions.

Utilize Floridas JAC system and e-filing portal .

Maintain organized case records using Dropbox and Google Sheets .

Requirements :

Proven background in  Florida criminal defense (required).

Spanish-speaking (preferred).

Experience drafting motions and pleadings.

Familiarity with Floridas JAC system and e-filing portal .

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
