PurposeThe Director, Global Procurement Services GBS Colombia will provide governance and oversight ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The role is a leadership position that is accountable for the execution of procurement activities locally, supporting our global teams. This role is a management level position and will have regular interaction with global business partners as well as Senior / Executive Management. Accountabilities- Provides strategic execution of the General Procurement Program including, Sourcing and Supplier Management Support, Global Payment Operations and Procurement Operations. - Ensures and supports the Global Procurement Team in the Global Business Services Campus(es) including but not limited to local operations, hiring, onboarding, training, budget planning & reconciliation, employee forecasting, - Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders to support enterprise objectives, influence key stakeholders, support escalated concerns and jointly develop strategic sourcing strategies while collaborating on sourcing initiatives and projects. Directly manage and implement best practices in sourcing initiatives.- Interface with Business Unit and Operations leaders to fully understand key business drivers, spend drivers, and achieve required support levels. As well as deliver insights pertaining to overall supplier performance at the contract, business unit and category level.- Provide category support within and across the Bank’s business segments and serve as a key contributor to a well-developed and evolving supplier management process with oversight and accountability for key vendor contracts and performance.- Oversee the support of execution on sourcing initiatives for multi-functional stakeholder teams, ensuring effective strategy development, market assessments, RFP processes, and supplier management while enabling collaboration and innovation between stakeholders and suppliers- Establish and develop on-going strategic relationships with key suppliers during major sourcing / project initiatives, and sustain relationships as part of on-going supplier relationship management process- Lead a disciplined effort to influence spend and drive cost savings across all business segments- Ensure consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups- Ability to coach for both performance and long-term development utilizing situational leadership skills- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite, risk culture and risk policies & processes should be considered / adhered to in day-to-day activities and decisions.- Create an environment in which his / her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his / her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML / ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML / ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.- Build a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviors; communicating vison / values / business strategy; and, managing succession and development planning for the team.- Collaborates with strategic supplier managers / strategic sourcing managers and the GPS business partners to ensure ONEGPS support and delivery to our business partners across the Bank.Reporting RelationshipsPrimary Manager : - - Vice President, Procurement & Regional Delivery- SVP, GBS Bogota (Indirect)Direct Reports : - - Senior Manager(s)- Manager(s)- Sr. Analyst(s)- Analyst(s) Dimensions- This role is global in nature and supports multiple categories and business units.- Key contacts include senior leaders across multiple Business Lines and Functions, - Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders to support enterprise objectives, influence key stakeholders, provide insight on supplier performance and jointly develop strategic sourcing strategies while collaborating on sourcing initiatives and projects- People Leader Education / Experience / Other InformationCore Skills- - Ability to bridge communications between Global Procurement Services, business and legal stakeholders / partners with a focus on developing an understanding of Sourcing and Supplier Management- Analytical in approach to problem solving, with a focus on managing a team environment with attention to results and a sense of urgency- Clear executive presence and results orientation- Ability to comprehend complex technical and financial issues and use them to inform the creation of effective action plans and supplier strategies- Demonstrated expertise leading strategic supplier relationships at an executive level- Ability to provide both technical and managerial leadership to his / her organization- Strong business acumen through application of critical and strategic thinking skills- Demonstrated ability to drive rapid and significant change- Excellent planning and organizational skills- Technology procurement experience, including software - People management experience & leading large teams- Ability to develop and execute formal negotiations- Ability to develop analyses and insights into supply market trends- Knowledge and experience with state-of-the-art procurement and analysis technologies- Strong knowledge in strategic sourcing methodologies (7 steps process or similar)Specific Requirements- - Minimum 10 years of progressive sourcing / procurement experience - Bachelor’s degree required- Fluent in English and Spanish requiredWorking Conditions- Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel may be required.
