HR Technology Test Lead

The HR Technology Test Lead is responsible for overseeing and executing testing activities for HR systems, with a primary focus on Workday. This role ensures the quality, accuracy, and reliability of Workday configurations, integrations, and functionalities, supporting HR operations and business objectives.

  • Test Execution : Lead and perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Workday updates, enhancements, and new implementations.
  • Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting to maintain system integrity.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with HR, IT, and Workday consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and cases.
  • Compliance and Documentation : Ensure testing processes align with functional strategy, organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, results, and issue logs in the requisite test system.
  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes and tools, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years focused on Workday systems.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in Workday modules and testing tools, and ideally experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge : Strong understanding of HR processes, system integrations, and testing methodologies.
  • Soft Skills : Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail : Ability to identify and address discrepancies in system configurations and processes.
