Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

Our client is a U.S.-based company focused on last-minute ticket sales for sports, concerts, and live events. The backend team builds internal tools and systems that support event management, user handling, and purchase flow.As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of the team that builds and supports the engine that powers experience for millions of customers. We empower our engineers to own the code they write by fostering a culture that believes in unit-testing, code reviews, metrics / instrumentation, and pushing code all the way through to production.

Requirements :

• 6+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend server language (we use Go, Ruby, Python).
• Production experience with database storage systems – SQL and / or NoSQL (we use MongoDB, Postgres, Redis, Redshift).
• 3+ years of experience working with a major cloud platform (we’re on AWS).
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration systems.
• Experience working with CI / CD tools.
• Experience building high-throughput, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.Bonus Points :
• Experience with ad server tech (RTB systems, matching inventory between suppliers and consumers).
• Experience building microservices and event-driven systems.
