Job Description

As Finance Manager, you are the financial steward and strategic business partner for our operations in Colombia. You own the full financial agenda : steering, planning, forecasting, and business performance management. You serve as a critical advisor to the Country Manager and the Colombian leadership team.

This high‑impact role blends hands‑on financial excellence with strategic influence. You’ll enable cross‑functional alignment and ensure data‑driven decision‑making at every level. You will report directly to Rafael Montoya Robledo, Country Manager, Colombia, with a dotted line to Gervasio, Global VP Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full budgeting process with support from global and regional FP&A teams.
  • Track business performance, identify deviations, and collaborate with leadership to solve them.
  • Manage and control costs for the Colombian business with a focus on continuous optimization.
  • Build business cases to support management decisions.
  • Represent the Colombian business on all financial topics, from company presentations to proactive contributions on finance matters.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for local finance topics, coordinating with global and regional finance teams.
  • Collaborate with regional and global FP&A and finance reporting teams to deliver reliable financial dashboards.
  • Work closely with the regional accounting, payroll, and compliance team based in Mexico on tax, payroll, labor, and other financial matters for Colombia.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant finance experience, with at least 3 years in a proven FP&A or commercial finance leadership role.
  • Strong analytical skills, including deep Excel modeling experience and exposure to BI tools.
  • Well‑rounded financial profile, comfortable managing reporting, controlling, accounting, tax, and labor topics.
  • Senior, autonomous, dynamic, and proactive mindset with a true owner attitude.
  • Execution focus : highly structured, organized, and deadline‑driven.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex material to a wide audience.
  • Native Spanish and advanced English.
  • Nice to have :
  • Experience in a startup or tech environment at a SaaS company.
  • Experience in transaction services, valuations, or audit at a Big Four firm.

    4. Hiring Manager interview with Rafael, Country Manager Colombia.

    5. Business exercise : prepare and present insights in a 60‑min session with Rafael, Gervasio, Enrique, and Lara.

    6. Final interview with Gervasio, Global VP Finance.
