We are on the lookout for a Director of Engineering!

This is an exciting opportunity to join us in Medellin, Colombia and help us build our community there.

The role would place you in a highly - energised environment with some of the most hardworking, creative individuals in the industry where you would be inspired to share your years of experience along with contributing to our projects with the existing teams in Symphony.

What would be your responsibilities if you join us?

• Partner with Symphony clients to craft and deliver digital solutions that unlock new levels of business valueLead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance architectural solutions. Ensure alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
• Provide expert guidance and coaching to developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Partner with UX / UI Designers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient delivery of solutions.
• Ensure best practice is applied, and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Implement best practices for performance optimization, security, and scalability.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating cutting-edge solutions to enhance our products and development processes.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for solution architecture, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
