Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant to join our growing SAP practice. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and delivering data migration strategies for major SAP implementation programmes. You will be responsible for ensuring that high-quality, accurate, and timely data migration activities underpin successful SAP deployments.

This role requires someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and professional, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP data migration workstreams for large-scale SAP implementations (ECC and / or S / 4HANA).
  • Define and execute data migration strategy, methodology, and plans aligned to programme requirements.
  • Perform detailed data analysis, profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure readiness for migration.
  • Develop and maintain mapping rules, data load programs, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate and manage mock loads, cutover activities, and reconciliation processes.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure accurate and complete data delivery.
  • Provide expert input into project planning, risk management, and issue resolution relating to data migration.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement within Kagool’s SAP practice.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in SAP data migration delivery across multiple full lifecycle implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP data structures and objects (MM, SD, FI / CO, HR, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SAP migration tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, and / or ETL tools.
  • Proven experience in data extraction, cleansing, mapping, transformation, and reconciliation.
  • Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.
  • Highly organised, methodical, and able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

  • Experience with S / 4HANA migrations.
  • Exposure to cloud and hybrid migration approaches.
  • SAP or data management certifications.
  • Experience in data governance and master data management (MDM).
