In order to achieve this, we need to ensure that our Compensation & Benefits remain competitive across all markets for the skills we value.
This new position will lead the design and execution of our global Total Rewards strategy. The role will require working closely with external vendors and stakeholders across HR and Finance to build, implement and oversee the administration of comprehensive strategies that attract, retain, and engage top talent, while ensuring compliance and competitiveness within the industry. With a focus on both compensation management and benefits administration, this role involves analyzing market trends, developing policies, and communicating effectively to optimize employee satisfaction and organizational performance.
The mandate for the first 12 months will include :
- Establishing the Total Rewards function
- Benchmarking and setting up compensation bands across our offices
- Running a job leveling exercise together with other People functions
What you will do
Compensation Management
Develop and administer compensation structures, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and equity programsConduct market research and analysis to ensure the organization's compensation packages remain competitive and compliant with relevant regulationsDetermine appropriate salary ranges and pay grades, on the basis of job roles and responsibilities partnering with People Partners and TALead compensation benchmarking exercises and make recommendations based on vendor data, with consideration of industry trends and best practicesBenefits Administration
Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiativesCollaborate with insurance brokers and benefit providers to negotiate favorable terms and cost-effective benefit packagesEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits across our marketsCommunicate benefits information to employees and provide guidance on enrollment, eligibility, and utilizationPolicy Development
Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies, procedures, and guidelinesPartner with People leadership and legal counsel to ensure policies comply with local regulationsRegularly review and update policies to reflect changes in legislation, market conditions, and organizational needsData Analysis and Reporting
Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementGenerate reports and metrics to track key performance indicators and compensation and benefits related metrics and costsPresent findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making processesEmployee Communication and Education
Develop communication materials and conduct training sessions to educate employees about compensation and benefits programsAddress employee inquiries and concerns regarding compensation, benefits, and related policiesServe as a resource for managers and People Partners on compensation and benefits-related mattersTeam Leadership
You will be managing a small team.What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in compensation and benefits management, with demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing competitive programs across multiple marketsHands-on knowledge of Rewards strategies, regulations and trends across multiple marketsStrong understanding of compensation principles, including salary structures, job evaluation and total rewards banding methodologiesIn-depth knowledge of employee benefits regulations and experience managing benefit plans across multiple jurisdictionsExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendationsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present complex information to diverse audiencesRelevant Certified Professional Qualification is a plusProficiency in HRIS systems and compensation management softwareHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalismWhat You Will Get
