Telesign is hiring a Senior Product Manager, a role accountable for the complete life cycle of several Telesign products, internal or external facing. This person is responsible for prioritizing different features and functionalities, delivery to market and evaluation after the delivery. Also, this person is responsible for communicating product strategy to all of the relevant stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, define and validate market requirements by gathering feedback from internal stakeholders, current and potential customers, and market research.
  • Collaborate with other Telesign departments to set the long‑term vision of the Telesign suite of solutions.
  • Define business priorities within the context of the product line and overall product strategy and based on leadership input.
  • Responsible for tactical implementation of short‑term and long‑term product roadmap.
  • Communicate product strategy and project or program status to all relevant participants and stakeholders, including the leadership team.
  • Manage product versioning, release cycle, client communications and other go‑to‑market considerations.
  • Maintain the product backlog and drive the agile process as the Product Owner.
  • Anticipate problems in the software development lifecycle and work to resolve them.
  • Ensure delivery of projects following engineering best practices.
  • Conduct product training for internal departments.
  • Support customer facing teams to deliver new customer integration and launch.
  • Assess and propose 3rd party solutions for potential adoption at Telesign.
  • Create and track business & product KPIs on the performance of Telesign products.

Essential Requirements

  • University degree preferably in Applied Sciences.
  • 5+ years Product Management or other relevant experience.
  • Experience working with mobile products, managing product roadmaps, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and leading successful product launches.
  • Experience working with CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS and other cloud communications services.
  • Experience with web user interfaces, websites, and portals.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and exposure to REST, HTTP, JSON, XML, authentication concepts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of computer and network security concepts.
  • Knowledge and experience of tools and techniques assessing competitor products, market research, and cost benefit analysis to identify business value of products.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, self‑organized, with a proactive approach and able to multitask.
  • Experience of working with business teams such as Sales, Business Operations, Finance, and outside vendors on defining new technology projects and product initiatives.
  • Use of common issue / task tracking tools (eg. JIRA).
  • Experience using Scrum or other agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated skills in delivering high quality products.
  • Ability to highly influence company strategy and product vision.
  • Judicious decision‑making skills in a high‑responsibility environment
  • Independent problem‑solving skills, working efficiently with teams of two to three, pair programming or working alone.
