Overview

Cybersecurity Services Business Development, Senior Managing Consultant – Mastercard, Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia.

Responsibilities

  • Build & oversee the GTM operating model for the division.
  • Define a collaborative operating model with clear joint account coverage.
  • Connect sales and SBL teams under a unified MA Cyber narrative and sales process.
  • Coordinate internal execution across teams; facilitate key client introductions across businesses and cross-sell opportunities between RF / RR / Consulting.
  • Oversee sales enablement, especially for SBLs (sales collateral, pitch decks, training, pipeline visibility).
  • Align product, sales, CS and marketing teams around launches and revenue goals.
  • End-to-end ownership of sales with focus on consulting bundles; leverage Recorded Future & Risk Recon referrals for Mastercard managed accounts.
  • Identify issues, take improvement actions and communicate progress; report clearly on commercial integration progress; track lead funnel health and conversion efficiency and address risks.
  • Measure success by sales performance, client impact, and expansion of Mastercard’s cybersecurity solutions footprint.

Required Qualifications

  • Cybersecurity experience : 10+ years’ work experience including time in cybersecurity consulting or technology sales.
  • Industry savvy with understanding of emerging cyber trends and ability to leverage market opportunities.
  • Experience selling security services, consulting and / or technologies such as cyber threat intelligence, security awareness and training, cloud security, incident response, third-party risk management, threat and vulnerability management, security in disruptive technologies (e.g., AI), CRQ – Cyber Risk Quantification, web application firewall, and identity protection.
  • Diverse stakeholder management

  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives and aligning diverse stakeholders toward common goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and driving alignment without formal authority.
  • Track record of delivering results through structured planning and rigorous execution.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly to evolving priorities.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed tactical execution to drive client impact and quick decisions in challenging situations.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multitasking across competing requests.
  • Commercial experience

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex concepts into compelling client narratives.
  • Direct selling or customer-facing experience; identifying client needs and building cybersecurity proposals.
  • Ability to identify new business development opportunities and draft proposals or scoping for new opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with mid- and executive-level clients.
  • Note : No non-competes that prevent sales interactions with clients in the financial services sector.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Successful tenure at a top-tier strategy consultancy (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Oliver Wyman).
  • Experience with information security standards and best practices (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO27001, NIST, CIS, CSA).
  • Experience with payment ecosystem security and understanding security needs for potential customers in the segment.
  • Experience in managing P&L or similar business ownership roles with a focus on growth and profitability.
