Join our team as an Integration Architect to lead the modernization of a complex API ecosystem by decoupling legacy integrations, designing a unified REST API, and implementing API management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a modern, multi-tenant API integration service hosted on AWS
  • Decouple existing APIs from the product and reshape them into a unified REST API
  • Rationalize legacy API implementations, consolidating REST and SOAP endpoints
  • Eliminate ODBC-based integrations by developing replacement components
  • Implement API management features to enable control, monitoring, and monetization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during discovery, analysis, and architecture phases
  • Lead testing, quality assurance, and documentation efforts for API solutions
  • Provide knowledge transfer and post-implementation support to ensure stability
  • Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and project reporting within the agile team
  • Coordinate with EPAM personnel to deliver the full development lifecycle for API modernization

Requirements

  • Experience in solution architecture with a focus on API design and integration (2+ years)
  • Proven leadership experience in managing development pods or agile teams
  • Strong background in (.NET / C#) development and AWS hosting environments
  • Experience with REST and SOAP API design, development, and migration
  • Knowledge of API management platforms and monetization strategies
  • Ability to analyze complex integration landscapes and recommend modernization approaches
  • Good organizational and communication skills to manage cross-team collaboration
  • Advanced English proficiency (B2+) for clear communication with clients and teams

  • Experience with multi-tenant application architectures
  • Familiarity with ODBC integration and its alternatives
  • Certification in cloud architecture or API management
  • Background in project management or Scrum Master practices
