Head of Technology

Overview

What we’re looking for : Head of Technology (Only for people located in Latin America) .

We are looking for a Head of Technology with experience leading software development teams. This is a strategic and hands-on role that will oversee all aspects of itopia's technology and product architecture, ensuring scalable delivery, technical excellence, and alignment with business goals. You will lead cross-functional engineering teams, define best practices, and drive the continued innovation of itopia’s core products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale high-performing software development teams (frontend, backend, DevOps, QA).
• Own the technical vision and architecture of the product ecosystem, including CloudApps and SecureClass.
• Drive implementation of modern engineering practices : CI / CD, automated testing, code quality standards, peer reviews, etc.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and deliverables.
• Implement and maintain agile methodologies across development cycles (Scrum / Kanban).
• Create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.
• Ensure data security, system reliability, compliance, and scalability across all platforms.
• Work with leadership to align technical strategy with company growth objectives.
• Evaluate, adopt, and implement new technologies that optimize performance and customer experience.
• Represent the tech function with key partners (Google Cloud), enterprise clients, and external stakeholders.
