Overview

Iron Mountain is looking for Accounts Receivable Specialists to join the North American accounts receivable team. The role involves continuous interaction with U.S. clients (advanced level of English essential) and collaboration with the organization’s sales and billing teams. You will develop skills in analysis, conflict resolution, negotiation, process standardization, and continuous improvement, helping maintain a healthy client portfolio, strong cash flow, and minimized losses due to non‑payment.

Responsibilities

  • Contact customers, via phone and e‑mail, regarding open invoices and billing disputes.
  • Identify issues causing delays in payment and communicate resolutions.
  • Document notes in Oracle pertaining to calls and collection efforts.
  • Maintain a working partnership with District, Area, Division, and Corporate teams.
  • Escalate collection issues to Supervisor or Director when necessary.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of various collections systems.
  • Adhere to Iron Mountain policy and procedures – department and company standards.
  • Support and complete collections department projects as directed by management.
  • Operate in a multinational environment, collaborating with people worldwide.

  • Requirements

  • Degree in Business or Finance.
  • Willingness to learn and thrive as a team player in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong typing skills.
  • Problem‑solving skills requiring independent judgment.
  • Previous call center or collections experience (required).
  • Clear criminal reference check – prior collections experience is required.
