Parametric Broker

Location : Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia.

Aon is looking for a talented broker to join its Strategic Solutions team. You will design innovative parametric solutions based on natural events such as hurricanes, earthquakes and other risks.

Responsibilities

• Identify commercial opportunities for parametric products, translating technical data into appealing value propositions.
• Process and analyze relevant data using tools such as Excel and basic analytics software (Python, R, or other).
• Collaborate on the technical structuring of parametric coverages, defining parameters, locations and activation thresholds.
• Prepare presentations, reports and technical documentation in English.
• Engage in commercial meetings, explaining analysis results and managing relationships with clients.
• Support historical pricing and loss estimates, communicating results clearly.
• Research new data sources and market trends, proposing product and process improvements.
