Descripción del trabajoBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field plus 8+ years of experience in AI / ML development, or Master's degree plus 6+ years Minimum 3 years of people management experience, with preference for 5+ years leading engineering teams Proven experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent) Strong foundation in mathematics, software, and hardware, with the ability to optimize AI systems effectively Hands‑on experience with AI / ML technologies, including LLMs, PyTorch, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and guardrail frameworks Ability to interpret scientific research and apply novel AI techniques judiciously in production Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills; ability to articulate complex AI concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders Adaptability in navigating undefined problems, resilience in trailblazing new technical paths, and a passion for mentoring and growing technical talent Competitive remote salary range : $239,900 - $273,800 annually (location‑dependent) Eligibility for performance‑based incentives, including cash bonuses and long‑term incentives Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Flexible remote work environment Opportunities to work with cutting‑edge AI technologies and frameworks Professional development, mentorship, and leadership growth opportunities Inclusive and collaborative workplace culture focused on innovation and excellence Director Full‑time Information Technology

Accountabilities
- Oversee the design, development, deployment, and support of AI software components, including foundation model training, LLM inference, similarity search, guardrails, and model evaluation
- Make strategic decisions across open-source and SaaS AI technologies to optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Lead and mentor a high-performing AI engineering team, fostering professional growth and a culture of technical excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and technical program managers, to deliver AI-powered solutions that impact millions of users
- Develop and maintain the long-term technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems
- Introduce and implement state-of-the-art optimization techniques for large-scale production AI systems
