General Manager - Dairy Ingredients (Spain)

We are searching for an experienced General Manager to take responsibility for the operations of a growing dairy ingredients business with an international presence. The successful candidate will lead the production facility near Madrid, ensuring operational excellence, developing people, and securing sustainable long‑term growth.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the production site
Drive efficiency and maintain consistent product quality
Manage, coach, and develop a high‑performing team
Control budgets, costs, and overall financial performance
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Define and implement operational strategies in line with business objectives
Work with senior leadership to identify and deliver on growth opportunities

Profile

Senior operational leadership experience in the dairy ingredients or food processing sector

Strong technical knowledge of dairy processing and production flows

Proven ability to lead teams and deliver performance improvements

Financial and analytical competence, including direct P&L responsibility

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Fluent in English; Spanish language skills preferred

Degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related discipline; postgraduate study a plus
