Responsibilities

Leads and supervises the Purchasing area of GBS Colombia, ensuring that business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed and complied with in accordance with current internal standards, policies and procedures.
This position should seek to maximize cost efficiency and operational efficiency in the company / 's purchasing processes, leading a team of analysts who execute local procurement of products and services, as well as the selection and ongoing evaluation of suppliers.
Directs, supervises, and negotiates the company / 's purchasing processes for goods and services, working closely with the GBS Dominican Republic team to standardize processes, share best practices, and seek efficiencies.

What do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, finance, Commercial Engineering, economics or similar

At least 5 years of experience in procurement

Intermediate to advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint.

B1 level of English because you will work hand in hand with our headquarters in Canada.
