We are looking for a Physics Teacher with experience in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), capable of designing meaningful learning experiences, fostering critical thinking, and helping students develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Physics lessons aligned with MYP objectives and assessment criteria.
Design concept-based inquiry units within the IB framework.
Implement formative and summative assessment strategies consistent with MYP criteria.
Manage and support interdisciplinary projects and the Personal Project when applicable.
Use active learning methodologies such as inquiry, project-based learning, experiments, and collaborative work.
Prepare, organize, and supervise laboratory activities safely and effectively.
Participate in professional development sessions and team meetings.
Promote the development of Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills in students.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or related fields.
Previous experience teaching in the MYP or other IB programmes (preferred).
Proficiency in English (minimum B2 or C1, depending on institutional requirements).
Knowledge of inquiry-based strategies and criterion-related assessment.
Safe handling of laboratory practices and equipment.
