Senior Data Architect, Professional Services

The Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.

Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Senior Data Architect you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.

As trusted advisors to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, you will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project. These professional services engagements will focus on customer solutions such as Data and Business intelligence, machine Learning and batch / real-time data processing.

Key job responsibilities include :

• Helping the customer to define and implement data architectures (Data Lake, Lake House, Data Mesh, etc).
• Delivering on-site technical assessments with partners and customers.
• Engaging with the customer’s business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a data-driven enterprise in their environment.
• Collaborating with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services.
