Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to a multidisciplinary team, encompassing both Production and Manufacturing Engineering, to ensure operational excellence and technical rigor
- Lead the industrialization of new work packages, from concept to serial production readiness
- Direct, coordinate, and continuously optimize manufacturing processes for aircraft assemblies (including wire harness team tasks), securing achievement of production milestones while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture, coaching mid-level managers and team leaders. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Anticipate and resolve production bottlenecks through proactive stakeholder engagement and strong cross-functional coordination with Planning, Procurement, Quality, and the Headquarters in Stans
- Define and implement robust KPIs, dashboards, and governance routines to monitor performance; deliver clear, data-driven bi-weekly reports to the Pilatus Ibérica Board of Directors to support decision-making and transparency
Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering; a specialization in Aeronautics is highly desirableMinimum of 10 years' experience in the aerospace industry, including at least 5 years in leadership roles within production environmentsIn-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing systems, with strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Quality Management standards (EN9100, Part 21G, OT, OQ, OC)Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with solid experience in project management, teams management, risks management, problems resolution and effective cross-functional communicationProven success in the industrialization and ramp-up of complex aerospace structures and componentsFluent in English (minimum C1 level); proficiency in German is a strong assetWhat we offer
