The role involves understanding the client business processes, current and future, and mapping them to the technologies used, delineating what can be achieved through standard implementation and what would require customization or extensions. The consultant may functionally customize the application, partner with developers to design enhancements, and work with business users to implement process changes.

Responsibilities

• Understand client business processes and map them to technologies, identifying what can be achieved with standard implementations versus what requires customization or extensions.
• Functionally customize the application and partner with application developers to design enhancements and extensions.
• Work with business users to implement process changes.
• Focus on building, maintaining, optimizing, and improving a client’s applications and systems.
• Develop knowledge in a business and / or industry domain and a SaaS or package-based solution.
• Contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective software package module.
• Conduct unit testing and contribute to integration testing; participate in the design and delivery of end-user training. Certification on SaaS or package-based solution and relevant methodology, as available.
