A multinational company is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join its global financial reporting team, focusing on supporting financial reporting excellence across worldwide business units, ensuring high-quality consolidation and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of the full group reporting cycle, collaborating with accounting, controlling, and digital / IT teams.
  • Provide first-line and some second-line support to a global network of finance users using SAP BW4HANA (reporting), SAP BPC (consolidation), Power BI, intercompany netting tools, and group coding structures.
  • Safeguard the monthly reporting process through monitoring, system checks, and administrative activities to meet deadlines.
  • Perform system housekeeping, maintenance, monthly calls, and ad-hoc communications with end users.
  • Contribute to user knowledge portals and deliver training on reporting processes and system usage.
  • Participate in projects including onboarding new companies or ERPs into the group reporting landscape.
  • Lead change requests to improve or create new service desk forms and workflows.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, enhance documentation, and increase customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field; ideally with strong technical affinity.
  • Strong service mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP applications, Power BI, SQL, or Jira is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across finance, business, and IT functions.
  • Prioritize, filter, and stay focused under high-volume workloads and tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel and quarterly weekend / public holiday on-call support.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment, both in a team and independently.

    Purpose and Functions

    Responsible for assisting in the preparation of both entity-level and consolidated financial reporting for internal and external needs. Support development and maintenance of company-wide accounting policies, apply technical accounting guidelines, and perform accounting research, including assessment and implementation of new accounting standards and evaluation of accounting for non-standard transactions.

    Functions

  • Participate in preparation and review of complex areas such as fair value, segments, and cash flow statements as needed.
  • Work with internal / external auditors periodically.
  • Assist with preparation / review of interim and external financial reporting packages.
  • Assist with projects related to monitoring, research, documentation, and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
  • Develop processes and transition new accounting guidance to relevant teams.
  • Prepare or review memorandums and controls documenting work performed.
  • Knowledgeable in fixed asset accounting, purchase accounting, and lease-related accounting.
  • Support statutory requirements of the company.
  • Complete related tasks to accomplish finance and organizational objectives.
  • These job functions are representative; incumbents may perform other related tasks.

    Working Conditions

    Normal office environment; some travel may be required.

    Additional Qualifications (If applicable)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; masters preferred.
  • 4+ years of public accounting or public / private / SEC experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX; advanced Excel and Office skills; IFRS knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret accounting literature and GAAP / IFRS regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; strong reconciliation skills.
  • Experience with lease accounting, or tower industry knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent English communication; Spanish proficiency a plus.
