Job Description

Senior Cost Accountant (Solventum)

As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of subsidiary costs and inventory in the system, ensuring accuracy, reliability, support and timeliness in compliance with the company's policies and procedures. You will analyze costs and movements of the company applying your experience and expanding your knowledge.

Impact You Will Have In This Role

• Monitor and analyze the costs of materials and indirect costs.
• Perform the cost accounting closing at the end of each month, ensuring the correct entry of COG’s provisions.
• Maintain the cost accounting system and ledger.
• Generate cost variation reports and explain such variations in local books and US GAAP.
• Be part of the physical inventory count in collaboration with the logistics area and the 3PL, as well as set the cycle inventory calendar.
• Attend internal and external audits.
• Develop and analyze the production and sales cost statement.
• Supervise that the movements of purchases and expenses of raw material, scrap, waste, finished products and general articles are carried out in a timely manner and keep the Kardex updated, as well as collaborate with different areas to review the supporting documentation of transactions that affect cost.

Location & Work Arrangements

Hybrid (the position allows working remotely but requires office attendance).

Must be legally authorized to work in the destination country without the need for a work visa.
