About the Role

A multinational company is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to join its global financial reporting team. This position focuses on supporting financial reporting excellence across worldwide business units, ensuring high-quality consolidation and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the full group reporting cycle, collaborating closely with accounting, controlling, and digital / IT teams.
  • Provide first‑line and some second‑line support to a global network of finance users working with key applications such as SAP BW / 4HANA (reporting), SAP BPC (consolidation), Power BI, intercompany netting tools, and group coding structures.
  • Safeguard the monthly reporting process through monitoring, system checks, and administrative activities, ensuring strict deadlines are met.
  • Perform system housekeeping, maintenance, monthly calls, and ad‑hoc communications with end users.
  • Contribute to user knowledge portals and deliver training to explain reporting processes and system usage.
  • Participate in projects including onboarding new companies or ERPs into the group reporting landscape.
  • Lead change requests to improve or create new service desk forms and workflows.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, enhance documentation, and increase customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field, ideally with strong technical affinity.
  • Strong service mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP applications, Power BI, SQL, or Jira is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across finance, business, and IT functions.
  • Skilled at prioritizing, filtering, and staying focused under high‑volume workloads and tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel and quarterly weekend / public holiday on‑call support.

  • Purpose

    Responsible for assisting in the preparation of both entity‑level and consolidated financial reporting, for internal and external needs. The candidate will support the development and maintenance of company‑wide accounting policies, apply technical accounting guidelines, and perform accounting research, including the assessment and implementation of new accounting standards and the evaluation of the accounting for non‑standard transactions.

    Functions

  • Participate in the preparation and review of other complex areas that may include fair value calculations, segments, cash flow statements, etc. as necessary.
  • Work with internal / external auditors periodically throughout the year.
  • Help with the preparation / review of interim and external financial reporting packages.
  • Assist with projects related to the monitoring, research, documentation, and implementation of new technical accounting pronouncements and unique, unusual transactions.
  • Assist work with general accounting to develop processes and transition new accounting resulting from new guidance or transactions to appropriate team members.
  • Prepare or review memorandums and controls documenting the work performed.
  • Knowledgeable in Fixed Asset accounting, Purchase accounting, Straight‑line lease rent and ground rents.
  • Support all statutory requirements of the Company.
  • Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Working Conditions and Physical Demands

    Position works in a normal office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking required daily. Job minimal will involve travel.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or public accounting. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of public accounting or public / private and SEC reporting experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Advanced user of Excel and all other Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret accounting literature, professional journals, and IFRS regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and technical GAAP accounting skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial accounting and financial reporting standards.
  • Ability to multi‑task and effectively prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Solid reconciliation and analysis skills.
  • Industry knowledge or lease accounting business models preferred.
  • Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with reporting groups in an international environment.

    Purpose of the Role

    Asegurar el Cumplimiento de los reportes regulatorios a tiempo asegurando la integridad de la información, en concordancia con las especificaciones del regulador local.

    Responsibilities

  • Monitorear la integridad y exactitud de la información contable fuente de los reportes regulatorios.
  • Elaborar y transmitir los reportes regulatorios, asegurando los controles para su revisión y la calidad de la información a tiempo.
  • Pruebas y ejecución de escenarios requeridos por el software de generación de reportes regulatorios locales.
  • Actualizar continuamente sobre la regulación que impacta de manera directa los reportes regulatorios.

  • Back‑up de las actividades propias de Payables relacionadas con liquidación, pago a proveedores y conciliación bancaria.
  • Mantener control riguroso de cuentas administrativas y calidad de bases de datos contables.

  • Contador titulado con al menos 5 años de experiencia en reportes regulatorios de entidades financieras.
  • Conocimiento en normativa local sobre reportes regulatorios aplicables a instituciones financieras.
  • Manejo avanzado de Excel y habilidades de comunicación.
  • Capacidad de trabajar bajo presión y en equipo.
  • Orientación a resultados y proactividad.
  • Experiencia en entidades financieras en áreas de reportes o controles, mínimo 5 años.
