Descripción del trabajo7 years of commercial experience in software development. Proven experience as a Senior Developer. 5+ years of experience with React and TypeScript. 4+ years of experience with Node.js and backend development. Expertise in integrating with REST APIs and GraphQL. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. 10 working days of Paid Day Off within an individual year. Up to 15 working days of Unpaid days off within an individual year. Compensation for sports activities or life insurance covering (up to 250$ per year) – after the trial period. Sombra University courses – a range of learning opportunities through Sombra University, including educational courses and lectures. Sombra Around Tech – community attendance uniting engineers and experts in Front-end, Back-end, QA, DevOps, and business Analysis. Mentorship program – available on request. UDEMY online course platform – stay up-to-date with technologies and programming languages. English courses and Speaking Club – English classes twice a week in small groups. Work equipment (laptop, monitor, and small devices compensation). Referral reward if you recommend a good fit. Public Holidays – 18 statutory holidays in Colombia. Sombra events – online and offline events.
We are seeking a Senior Developer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript, and solid backend experience with Node.js. In this role, you will lead the development of scalable web applications, design backend services, and integrate APIs to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the development of web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Design and implement backend services with Node.js (primary backend responsibility).
- Integrate with REST APIs and GraphQL to build scalable and efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time.
- Provide technical leadership, ensuring best practices in architecture, coding, and team collaboration.
