Overview
Electronic Arts (EA) is seeking a QA Director - The Sims to lead and deliver testing strategy and execution. This onsite role is based in Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area). You will partner with teams in India and North America and work with the Bogota The Sims 4 QV team to create evolving solutions, promote software and game quality, and manage testing processes to achieve high product quality. You will report to the Development Director II.
Responsibilities
- Proficient in designing and implementing a comprehensive test strategies.
- Experience defining and balancing test scope, estimating effort, and managing risk.
- Integrate emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools and predictive analytics, to improve QV processes and quality outcomes.
- Assess evolving AI tools and platforms for ROI and risk of adopting AI solutions within the QV domain.
- Use complex data, including AI / ML-driven insights, to inform strategic decisions, allocate resources, predict quality risks, and improve QV operations.
- Lead QV efforts within Agile / Scrum, including implementing and tailoring Agile testing practices.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
- Lead teams through significant technological and process changes, including integrating AI solutions into established workflows.
- Provide expertise in performance management, conflict resolution, and fostering a diverse and inclusive culture while developing team capabilities to use emerging technologies.
Qualifications
8+ years of game or software development QA experience, including 3+ years in a lead / manager role.Experience managing multi-discipline teams and working with remote teams.Understanding of software development processes.Stakeholder management and communication.Experience in leadership roles, including coordinating teams.Experience with process improvement methodologies and leading innovation in testing processes to enhance efficiency.EA Bogota Benefits
