We’re looking for a People Partner based in Medellin, Colombia to support our organization across the Americas region and play a key role in shaping our global People framework. This role reports directly to the VP of People and will work closely with both regional leaders and the global People team.
It’s a position that combines employee support and leader partnership with helping to shape scalable global processes that define how we manage performance, structure, and culture across the company.
In the short term, the focus will be on daily employee and leader support, with an emphasis on the Americas region, while also helping to strengthen and align global People processes. Over time, as these foundations are established, the role will evolve into a more traditional People Partner position — providing strategic guidance to leaders, supporting employees, and ensuring People programs run smoothly across multiple countries.
What you’ll do
Build & shape :
- Support the rollout and execution of global People processes (performance reviews, promotions, policies, compliance).
- Contribute and oversee the design and implementation of the Global Job Architecture Framework, ensuring roles, levels, and career paths are clearly defined and consistent across all regions.
- Partner with Legal to ensure compliance with employment regulations across Colombia, the U.S., and other supported countries.
- Adapt global frameworks to the regional context while maintaining alignment with company standards.
- Support culture-building initiatives that connect global values with the local employee experience in the Americas.
- Partner with the global team to coordinate learning and development initiatives, including onboarding, employee training, and leadership development programs.
Partner & support :
Act as a trusted advisor to managers on People-related matters including structure, performance, employee relations, and engagement.Provide responsive and empathetic support to employees and leaders on daily People questions and requests.Partner with leaders to navigate team changes, performance discussions, and complex employee situations.Manage and resolve employee relations matters in partnership with Legal and the VP, People.Drive employee experience initiatives such as local events, onboarding improvements, and engagement programs.Oversee day-to-day HR operations to ensure smooth, compliant processes across the employee lifecycle.What you bring
6+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or similar HR generalist role, ideally in a global or regional organization.Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices in Colombia and a working understanding of other Americas jurisdictions (U.S., Argentina, Brazil).Experience with Job Architecture initiatives, including role leveling, job families, and progression frameworks.Experience supporting or coordinating learning and development programs, such as employee training, onboarding, or leadership development.Strong attention to detail with experience drafting, reviewing, and maintaining employment documents and policies.Proficiency with HRIS systems (preferably PeopleForce) and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.Proven ability to manage People policies and programs from design through implementation.A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on operational execution.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across multiple cultures and time zones.Fluency in English required.When you join Solvd, you'll…
