Job Description

The University of Missouri's School of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology, chaired by Dr. Bo Lu, is expanding and seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to build a world-class, specialized clinical practice at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with complex cases from across the region and will have opportunities to engage in clinical radiation oncology services, research, and scholarly activities related to oncology and cancer.

Job Details

  • Responsibilities include :
  • Expected clinical work : approximately 80%
  • Teaching / Education : approximately 10%
  • Administration : approximately 10%

    We treat over 600 new patients annually, including both adult and pediatric cases. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates closely with other specialists to develop optimal treatment plans through weekly tumor boards. Opportunities exist for research collaboration at the University of Missouri, including access to cutting-edge resources like the NextGen Precision Health Institute and the MURR research reactor, supporting advancements in radiopharmaceuticals and imaging technologies.

    Qualifications

    MD / DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
