Vice President, Data and Business Intelligence
Base pay range : $275,000.00 / yr - $330,000.00 / yr. Reports to : Chief Financial Officer. Location : Remote US. Compensation : $275,000 to $330,000 base plus bonus and equity.
What We Do : Huntress is a fully remote, global team of cybersecurity experts focused on breaking down barriers to cybersecurity. We design security solutions, perform threat hunting, and support communities with enterprise-grade, fully owned and managed cybersecurity products at a SaaS-like price. We protect 3M+ endpoints and 1M+ identities worldwide, supporting under-resourced IT teams.
What You’ll Do : You will develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with business priorities. You will guide data architecture, develop data governance, and ensure data integrity. You and your team will deliver data and insights to educate and influence key business decisions. You will lead a team responsible for consolidating and mining multiple data sources, deriving actionable insights, and translating results into simple conclusions and recommendations to empower action.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Work across the organization to understand the business and the most important data and analytics needs. Your team will be responsible for :
- Enhancing and iterating on data architecture strategy to support company-wide analysis and reporting
- Developing and implementing advanced analytics models, machine learning algorithms, and AI to extract insights
- Integrating multiple data sources into a data lake
- Understanding data interconnectivity from data flow and business metrics perspectives
- Creating data models, definitions, governance, and establishing metric definitions
- Leading the team to design and build automated analytics tools and self-service dashboards to aid decision-making and operational efficiency
- Coaching the team to communicate complex analyses in simple terms to drive recommendations
- Developing business, analytical, and systems knowledge to improve analytical solutions and partner with teams across the company to track and analyze items such as marketing / sales funnel dynamics, customer health, product costs, and financial metrics
- Identifying data sources of truth and ensuring data flows are accurate and consistent
- Creating data security and privacy policies in alignment with Company policies while balancing accessibility
- Collaborating with organizational leaders to refine data architecture strategy and determine AI decision-making strategies as the business evolves
