People Business Partner

About The Role

The People Business Partner is both a strategic and hands‑on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our teammates and business leaders. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving functional excellence and process improvement. A PBP at Veho is a builder, problem solver, and a strong thought partner to the business leaders within their supported group. In this role, you will primarily support non‑exempt employees and the leaders of our Bogota, Colombia, location.

  • Primary point of contact for employee relations
  • Partner with business leaders to advise on talent development strategies
  • Build processes that scale the services provided to your stakeholders and customers
  • Partner with recruiting to build organizational strategies and ensure leveling and job architecture for new roles is consistent across teams
  • Hold listening sessions with teammates
  • Support in‑office needs

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a people operations or human resources role
  • At least 2 years of experience as a People Business Partner or Human Resources Business Partner
  • Strong evidence of stretch assignments that are evidence of superior performance in previous roles
  • Analytical mindset with an understanding of core people related metrics
  • Previous experience building processes, playbooks, and best practices
  • Experience supporting hourly employee client groups
  • Experience in a high growth or rapidly changing work environment
  • Finance Manager

    As Finance Manager, you are the financial steward and strategic business partner for our operations in Colombia. You own the full financial agenda : steering, planning, forecasting, and business performance management. You serve as a critical advisor to the Country Manager and the Colombian leadership team.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Own the full budgeting process with support from global and regional FP&A teams. Your goal is to understand global models, guide the business in building plans, and push for the best possible plan in the Colombian market
  • Support the country manager and leadership team by tracking business performance, identifying deviations, and working together to solve them
  • Manage and control costs for the Colombian business looking for constant optimization
  • Build business cases to support management decisions
  • Be the face and brain of the Colombian business when it comes to any financial topics, from company presentations (all hands) to proactive contribution in different matters
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the local operation for all financial topics, connecting with global and regional finance teams as applicable
  • Collaborate with regional and global FP&A and Finance reporting teams to deliver reliable and actionable financial dashboards that support business decisions and monitor budget realization
  • Work closely with the regional accounting, payroll, and compliance team based in Mexico on tax, payroll, labor, and other financial matters for Colombia.
  • We are a scale up and there is still a lot we are figuring out
  • Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant Finance experience, with at least 3 years in a proven FP&A or commercial finance leadership role.
  • Strong analytical skills, including deep Excel modeling experience and ideal exposure to BI tools.
  • Well‑rounded financial profile, comfortable managing reporting, controlling, accounting, tax, and labor topics.
  • Senior & Autonomous Mindset : Dynamic, proactive, and willing to multitask without needing constant direction (a true owner).
  • Execution Focus : Highly structured, organized, and focused on meeting deadlines and delivering high‑quality results.
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills : Comfortable presenting complex material to a range of audiences.
  • Native Spanish and advanced English.
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience in a start‑up or tech environment at a SaaS company.
  • Experience in Transaction Services, Valuations, or Audit at a Big Four firm.

  • 1 to 3 years of HR Business Partner experience.

  • Data & Reporting : Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI / Tableau.

    We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and results‑driven Service Experience Business Partner to lead and optimize service experiences within a dynamic and multicultural environment in the LatAm Gallagher Center of Excellence (GCoE).

    How You'll Make An Impact – Operational Leadership & Governance

  • Oversee the experience of both on‑shore teams and employees with regards to their performance and development.
  • Monitor adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and corporate timelines (e.g., merit cycles, annual reviews).
  • Monitor service performance through dashboards and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure structured follow‑up and execution of strategic plans.
  • Stakeholder & Service Management : Act as the primary point of contact for internal clients and hiring managers.
  • Coordinate and oversee onboarding processes, including logistics, access preparation, and ensuring the provision of laptops, accessories, and necessary tools / licenses tailored to each role in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Monitor and track the recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy requests to Talent Acquisition (TA) adherence to SLAs, and follow up with HR on offers, background checks, and the employee lifecycle.
  • Supervise and ensure the implementation and follow‑up of efficiency initiatives and service improvements.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to resolve any issues and elevate when necessary.
  • Financial Oversight & Strategic Reporting : Analyze and report on cost structures, savings, and budget forecasts (onshore / offshore); ensure salary scales are aligned with market standards and cost controls; support the development of business cases for shared service expansion across LatAm and globally.
  • Talent & Experience Management : Promote smart hiring practices focused on attitude, capability, and organizational fit; ensure a positive experience for candidates and internal clients throughout the service lifecycle; demonstrate leadership and influence across a matrixed, multicultural environment.
