Descripción del trabajoBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (Master in Supply Chain Management highly valued). 2–4 years of relevant supply chain experience. Fluent in Spanish and English; German language is highly valued. Knowledge of common logistics standard processes and IT systems. Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel; proficiency in PowerPoint and Access is a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to work well in a team. We are looking for a Supply Chain Consultant to support the development of our Bogotá office. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential; German language is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with client and internal teams to understand business requirements, identify data needs and supporting analyses, and formulate strategies.
- Develop network structure for a company evaluating cost, service, and flexibility. Design a facility coordinating operations, IT systems, safety, and quality.
- Facilitate sourcing of logistics services and material handling equipment. Evaluate providers and provide unbiased cost / benefit analyses.
- Supervise implementation, manage change, and provide ramp-up support at startup. Support business development initiatives.
