💼 About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in IT Support or System Administration , who has transitioned into software testing. This is a key role focused on ensuring product quality through manual testing, API validation, and system-level analysis, particularly in Windows environments.

You’ll be responsible for validating features, finding bugs others miss, and ensuring stable, high-quality releases, all while bringing your IT expertise into the QA process.

🔧 What You'll Do

• Own and execute manual QA testing for desktop and web platforms.
• Become an in-house expert on the IT software solutions, providing valuable feedback on usability and functionality.
• Design, update, and maintain test plans and test cases .
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman. (REST / SOAP).
• Analyze application logs , identify root causes, and help resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure bug-free releases.
• Document and report issues clearly in Jira, and help define regression test cycles.
• Apply your  SysAdmin / IT Ops background to anticipate edge cases and system-level impacts.
• Suggest continuous improvements in testing processes, environments, and tools.
