Overview

The MDMP, Master Data Business Product Owner is responsible for defining the vision of the master data product, making empowered decisions that deliver high business value, and tracking progress on program execution.

What You Will Do

• Define the vision for the Master Data Management Platform (MDM) and ensure alignment with security and governance standards.
• Design and operationalize the global Master Data Management & Governance data model, data processes, and data operations to drive data excellence across functions and regions.
• Work cross-functionally with strategic business, data, and technology leads, OneS4 Program Teams, and executives to understand master data needs and deliver value.
• Lead the case for change and ensure communications are cascaded for new business updates.
• Define and build appropriate business terms and approve taxonomy structures and data elements.
• Drive the strategic roadmap for end-to-end Master Data Processes and identify critical data models with IT.
• Foster a data-driven community among business process owners and empower end users to own their data and understand business rules.
• Create and maintain documentation on all critical processes and provide transparency on upcoming changes.
• Define metrics for business goals and operational needs.
