As a Manager, Tapioca Supply you will lead and manage the Tapioca Supply program located in the Colombian Atlantic Region, to Supply the volume of Tapioca root required by Ingredion during the whole year, developing strategies to reduce the cost of roots, increase the Crop Yields and Starch Content in Roots, and minimize the post-harvest time & plant Inventories of roots. Deliver specific and sustainable strategies to offset the seasonal reduction of Tapioca through the Balance of Own crops supply and Third parties Supply. Promote the Tapioca agricultural program integration with other areas of the company, in order to create a strong and sustainable value proposition for costumers and overcome financials goals such as ROCE & Operating Income.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Tapioca Supply program located in the Colombian Atlantic Region to supply the volume of Tapioca root required by Ingredion during the whole year.
Develop strategies to reduce the cost of roots, increase the crop yields and starch content in roots.
Minimize the post-harvest time and plant inventories of roots.
Deliver specific and sustainable strategies to offset the seasonal reduction of Tapioca through the balance of own crops supply and third parties supply.
Promote the Tapioca agricultural program integration with other areas of the company to create a strong and sustainable value proposition for customers and overcome financial goals such as ROCE and operating income.

What You Will Bring

5 years of experience in Agricultural Programs Management.

Intermediate English.

Bachelor’s Degree (Agronomist Engineer).

Master in Business Administration (MBA), Production, Logistics or Financial Specialist desirable.

Advanced understanding of the Tapioca Agricultural Technical Field Activities. Advanced Strategic Planning skills.

Basic Financial Skills. (P&L, Balance Sheet reading and understanding, Cost Structure Management).

Production and Quality basic skills.

Basic Project Management Skills.

Who You Are

Strong ability to promote and execute creative ideas and projects focused on cost reduction, efficiencies and value-added proposition in agricultural field operations

Strong analytical skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization.

Ability to negotiate issues and solve problems through creative, innovative solutions challenging traditional methods.
