Overview

Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), AWS, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL

The “Reduce TMC Variants” project. This project implies upgrading and migrating all components managed by the Network and Runtime team.

Requirements

Experience with Database maintenance, upgrades, design and tuning.

Experience running queries in production.

Nice to have : Experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other IaaS / PaaS providers.

Proven experience working with containerization technologies like Docker containers and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (including experience with Helm, Flux, Traefik, Gloo, and AKS / EKS).

Familiar with Splunk or any similar log management technology (ELK, Dynatrace…)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job responsibilities

Perform Database upgrades (Mongo, MySQL, RDS, etc), Database design and Database tuning.

Run queries in production and automate these repetitive activities.

Figure out Indexes.

Develop Splunk and Grafana dashboards for auditing, visualizations, and effective monitoring of the environments.
