Overview

We are South and our client is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager.

Role Overview

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish / English) senior accounting professional to assist with accounting operations. This is a full-time role, initially on a month-to-month contract with the option to convert to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform GAAP-compliant expense accruals, revenue recognition, and fixed assets for the monthly closing

Perform revenue recognition, including revenue from student tuition and fees, service revenue collected from partner universities, income from rent and administrative services

Perform expense and Accounts Payable accruals

Perform account analysis and reconciliation; account reclassifications

Identify system improvements and assist with process optimization initiatives

Over time, assist with ERP data migration

Report to the VP of Finance

Candidate Requirements

Accounting Manager / Controller level (CPA not required, strong GAAP knowledge mandatory)

Bilingual in Spanish and English

10+ years of relevant experience

Systems thinking and process improvement skills; Dynamics F&O knowledge a plus

Strong communication and analytical skills
