QA Engineer Team Lead - Performance Testing (Chile y Colombia) P6854

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer Team Lead with expertise in Performance Testing to lead our QA team in ensuring the speed, scalability, and reliability of our applications. As a Team Lead, you will manage a group of quality engineers, develop performance testing strategies, and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
This role combines hands-on testing with team leadership, focusing on driving quality initiatives and optimizing system performance. Must have good communication skills.
As a QA Engineer Team Lead you will be in charge of: Leadership & Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and guide a team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.- Assign tasks, manage team priorities, and ensure timely delivery of performance testing objectives.- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to support the growth and development of team members.
Performance Testing & Analysis: - Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and strategies to assess application capacity, reliability, and scalability.- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and work with engineering teams to implement improvements.- Define and track performance metrics, benchmarks, and acceptance criteria for system performance.
Automation & CI/CD Integration: -Build and maintain automated performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous monitoring and early detection of performance issues.- Collaborate with DevOps to optimize testing workflows and ensure seamless integration of performance tests within the development lifecycle.
Collaboration & Reporting: - Partner with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment on quality and performance goals.- Present test results, performance metrics, and improvement recommendations to stakeholders, providing clear insights and data-driven solutions.- Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring performance testing objectives are incorporated into sprint planning and project timelines.
