Backed by early traction, pilots with billing companies, and integration with 3,000+ payers, we’re now scaling aggressively — and we’re looking for a Chief Sales Officer to lead that charge.
The Role :
We’re seeking a visionary, execution-driven Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to build and lead our sales organization from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to define the go-to-market strategy, close high-value enterprise deals, and shape the future of how healthcare providers manage billing and insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the overall sales strategy, pipeline, and revenue growth goals
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales team across inside sales, enterprise, and channel partnerships
- Identify and close enterprise-level healthcare clients (provider groups, billing companies, MSOs, telehealth platforms)
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align messaging, feedback, and client onboarding
- Establish KPIs, forecast revenue, and report to executive leadership and investors
- Represent App Z Health at industry conferences and events
You Are
A proven sales leader with 8+ years of experience, including startup or scale-up experienceDeeply familiar with healthcare tech, medical billing, or insurance workflowsExperienced in B2B SaaS sales , especially selling into provider groups or health systemsSkilled at building sales teams, motivating performance, and creating scalable processesStrategic yet hands-on — ready to close deals while building out the teamA strong communicator and relationship builderComfortable with CRM tools, forecasting, and data-driven decisionsBonus If You Have
