We are now looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help scale operational excellence across our growing renewable energy platform. As COO, you will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership to turn vision into action, ensuring that our operations are effective, resilient, and people-centered. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a purpose-driven company and accelerate the transition to renewable thermal energy.

Location : Seville, Spain

Travel : 60–80 days per year

Start date : As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and support day-to-day operations across business functions, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that enable growth while keeping people, performance, and sustainability in balance.
  • Partner with the executive team to shape long-term business planning and ensure strong cross-functional execution.
  • Inspire and develop teams, fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Monitor key operational metrics, analyze performance, and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure operational sustainability.
  • Support international expansion, supply chain optimization, and new market entry strategies.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates with diverse leadership styles and experiences. You may be a strong match if you bring :

  • Significant senior operational leadership experience, ideally in renewable energy, cleantech, or another high-growth sector.
  • Experience managing suppliers, partners, and / or pre-assembly factory setups.
  • Familiarity with coordinating sub-suppliers for transport, installation, and commissioning.
  • Experience supporting organizations through growth, scaling, or transformation.
  • Financial acumen and comfort managing budgets and operational plans.
  • Strong people leadership, team development, and communication skills.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, or organizational development.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and data systems that enhance operational efficiency.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken Spanish and English.
