As a Drayage Customer Service Representative, you will work directly with our customers to manage and execute their daily drayage deliveries. You will be responsible for maintaining accuracy of shipment information, tracking and tracing of loads, and problem resolution. Our Drayage Customer Service Representative thrives in a fast-paced environment and uses their strong communication skills to develop and grow relationships with our clients.
- Data entry of shipment details from multiple sources (Excel report, email correspondence, etc.) including delivery orders as soon as they are received.
- Answer customer service inquiries via phone and email
- Real time updates on deliveries
- Ensure containers are returned before any Per Diem charges are incurred
- Manage communication flow with the dispatcher and Drayage Customer Service Manager on empty returns
- Assist in scheduling appointments with the terminals
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned
