Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead and optimize their procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure optimal terms and pricing
- Manage procurement activities including RFQs, RFPs, purchase orders, and contract negotiations
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements
- Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and cost-control measures
- Lead and mentor procurement staff
Requirements
Bachelor e209s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 4+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain managementStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsExperience with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)Solid understanding of contract law and procurement best practicesExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications
Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CIPSFamiliarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practicesPrivacy and Compliance
