Overview
As a specialist in the Kuehne+Nagel finance team, you are responsible for managing budgets, strategic planning, and overseeing financial operations. Your meticulous attention to detail supports colleagues around the world in delivering essential services, including medical supplies and food products. This role leads the CCM Tower team to ensure credit processes are followed, monitor credit exposure, and align with corporate policies to mitigate financial risk.
Responsibilities
- Lead the CCM Tower by ensuring compliance with credit processes, monitoring credit excess, and assigning workloads.
- Act as escalation point for critical cases and violations; supervise key reports and ensure alignment with policies.
- Monitor credit excess and ensure compliance under a KPI of 1%.
- Prepare and oversee ICS credit exceed reports for all companies.
- Assign workload and coordinate with Risk Management on credit excess processes.
- Coordinate communication with Credit Insurance for coverage; liaise with the collection team regarding escalations of credit limits or overdue situations.
- Approve CCM at competency class 3; analyze delayed invoices and coordinate follow-ups with Business Units.
- Be the escalation point for CCM Tower; prepare monthly CCM statistics (COD and credit) and track approved files vs. violations.
- Escalate CCM violations to Credit Supervisor and follow up on critical cases of credit excess, working with local branches to resolve disputes.
- Manage pending but approved invoices and initiate proactive credit reviews; stay aware of relevant financial, regulatory, and industry information.
- Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 year post-secondary accounting / business administration diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Accounting or finance experience in knowledge or shared service centers.At least 1 year of experience in Collections or Risk Management; strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills; solid foundation in accounting principles.What we would like you to bring
