Our worldwide services organization has centuries of cumulative process industry experience spanning : oil and gas, petroleum, chemicals, specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals and consumer products.

This position will require expertise in Refinery, Olefins, Polymer or Spec Chem process industry or Pulp and Paper or Metal and Mines. This position is for a qualified engineer to join our team in Colombia (Bogota).

Your Impact

• Review process flow diagrams and P&IDs, and understand process operation and being able to participate in process discussions.
• Cooperate effectively in designing testing and commissioning APC applications and able to independently execute some phases of a control project (PID Tuning, Process revision, Documentation), in small / medium size APC project. Being able to cooperate effectively in all phases of and APC project under guidance from the Technical Leader
• Understand process issues and how they impact on multivariable control design
• Being able to understand the design of control strategies c
• Being able to configure multivariable control systems of medium complexity
• Complete database or schematic changes, implementing complex calculations for data analysis.
• Set up and execute controller simulation for small scope problems, under supervision from the Technical Lead.
• Understand concepts of closed loop control (computer, DCS, PID control, DMC3 tuning concept) and assist in controller interface database and configuration.
