TMF Group is looking for an Accounting & Tax Senior with 3+ years of experience in accounting, taxes, strong reconciliation skills, and a background in BPO / SSC environments. KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee timely and accurate management of general accounting and reporting processes, including processing journal entries, calculating accruals, and managing allocations.
• Take ownership of ensuring proper reconciliation of reports and accounts, implementing advanced techniques to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Ensure strict compliance with local accounting and tax regulations, policies, and procedures, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
• Oversee the preparation and timely submission of tax filings, including ICA, IVA, Renta, and other statutory obligations, ensuring full compliance with Colombian tax authorities and local regulations.
• Act as a primary point of contact for coordination with Local Office, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Take charge of monthly closing activities and lead the reconciliation of balance sheets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with local accounting standards, policies, and procedures, providing guidance and support to junior team members in understanding and implementing these standards.
• Act as a primary point of contact for coordination with Local Office and internal stakeholders.
• Drive team productivity and accuracy by setting and achieving performance metrics, actively contributing to the attainment of team goals.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and sharing best practices across the team.
• Provide mentorship and support to the team, assisting in the achievement of performance objectives and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
